Since 2018, the ALTO has been a part of our roadbike range. Translated from Italian, ALTO means up high and with the ALTO you will stand above the rest. For our third participation in the Tour de France, we launched the third edition. The development of the latest ALTO incorporated feedback from our professional teams and the experience gained from the world's toughest racetracks. In addition, the new ALTO frame underwent the toughest testing period in KTM history. The pre-series prototypes were already sent to the Hell of the North and had to prove themselves on the pavé of Paris-Roubaix. At the same time, we fine-tuned the ALTO in the wind tunnel. The frame is ideal for climbing and is superbly aerodynamic. On his first ride with the new ALTO, Frenchman Pierre Rolland rode straight into the best climber’s jersey of the Dauphiné. The journey of the first serial frames led from Mattighofen, via Copenhagen, to the Champs Élysées in Paris. The frames of the Tour de France professionals are now waiting for you.
