THE BEST: THE GASGAS ECC 6 WINS THE AWARD FOR TOP EMTB AT BIKE FESTIVAL RIVA

Launched in late '2023 and now available at GASGAS dealers worldwide, the ECC 6 has been selected by the experienced Bike Festival Riva jury as the best eMTB of the 2024 edition of the event.

With a massive crowd of consumers and media testing the latest offerings, the GASGAS ECC 6 took the win for best eMTB at Riva Bike Fest’s 30th annual event in Riva del Garda, Italy.

Selected by the jury for its innovative design and overall performance, the ECC 6 took on Riva’s challenging trail network where its performance highlights included the DVO Powered by WP suspension, capable frame geometry and kinematics, and support of the SRAM Eagle Powertrain. Consumer attendees conducted more than 200 test rides on the ECC during the festival, providing some real-world testing, complete with smiles and thumbs-up to attest to the bike’s performance and rider enjoyment up and down the challenging terrain.

The ECC line-up includes the ECC 6, ECC 5, and ECC 4 models, all powered by the SRAM unit. The 6 and 5 level bikes take full advantage of the integrated SRAM Eagle Powertrain including motor and transmission with the benefits of AXS wireless shifting and dropper post. The ECC 4 model features mechanical shifting and dropper post for optimal price point considerations.

DVO powered by WP showcases the entry of the lauded WP cone valve technology into the MTB space with internals for both the shock and the fork. A proven performer on the motorcycle circuit, WP’s cone valve technology suits MTB needs perfectly, allowing for better control, less rider fatigue, and increased traction both front and rear. DVO’s trusted external chassis accepts the WP internal cone valve cartridge to create this unique set-up. Heavily tested for more than two years and raced on the EDR-E World Cup in 2023, cone valve technology is now available to the top ECC 6 and ECC 5 models. RockShox continues as our partner on the ECC 4 version.

Stay tuned to the 2024 UCI EDR-E World Cup race season, as the GASGAS Factory Racing team puts their own ECC 6 bikes bike to the test against the world’s best.
